Ah, sometimes you just have to get away for some inspiration and down-time. So last week, we headed off to Myrtle Beach for a nice, week-long jaunt. While there, I managed to sketch some on the beach and capture a little of the sights.

I also did some experimentation with technique and style. I'm toying around a lot now with negative space. There's some promise in how these sketches were rendered, I think... so look for more of this in the weeks ahead.
